Family harmony for all, whatever age your dog or child is…..
Having worked with many, many expectant and new parents I understand this can be a stressful and worrying time for everyone in the family, including the dog. This service is also suitable for grandparents or other close family who have dogs and would like to ensure everyone is safe during visits.
Preparation in advance is the way to go….
At Muttamorphosis Sue offer practical advice on getting your dog prepped in advance for the new arrival. This can help ease the transition to harmonious living once baby arrives and is ideally recommended at least a couple of months before your due date.
Changes to routines and accepting the novelty of the new baby can cause upset for everyone. Therefore, Ethe plans we put in place help to reduce stress by offering practical ways to prepare your dog in advance as much as possible. Everything from sleep locations to managing your dog out and about with a pram, how to introduce your dog to the new baby and how to negotiate the new family dynamic with minimum stress.
If you’re worried about the new addition and how your dog may cope, please don’t hesitate to get in touch now. Support is on offer and it’s always better to act in advance before problems arise.
Your dog isn’t coping with your infant/toddler/child?
For dog’s who are showing behaviour challenges and stress after your family grows in size, help is also at hand. Sue has worked with many, many dogs who find infants, toddlers and even older children stressful to be around. Sue studied child psychology at university so she recognizes that each phase of child development can bring new challenges for the dog in your family. With a goal to help everyone live in harmony together and to offer support when this may not be possible, our New Baby/Resident Dog package can help you work through your dog’s problem behaviour whatever stage your child is at.

Here’ s what previous customers have said about this service:
When I was pregnant I contacted Sue for some advice on how I could prepare my 2 Tibetan Mastiff’s, Bailey & Jenson for the arrival of our baby. Sue gave us so much advice including lots that we didn’t even think about. We implemented the advice and training that we were given prior to our baby being born. This really did help once we came home with the baby. I would highly recommend Sue for pre or post-natal dog training.
I have 3 dogs and had a new baby. While the girls adjusted quite well to the new arrival, my boy didn’t. I reached out to Sue at Muttamorphosis to help. I was incredibly stressed and really thought we may need to rehome him which would have upset me so much. Using the advice Sue gave us, Hugo has now accepted the baby and I feel so much happier. My house is now settled into a much calmer routine.
A massive thank you for all of your help over the last few months in giving us the tools to help Ozzy and us adjust to this new baby life. It’s been overwhelming bringing a baby home anyway, so I can’t imagine how this would have went if we hadn’t worked with you. I’ll be recommending you to anyone I know that wants help with their doggies, but particularly those who will be welcoming a new baby.
We arranged a video consultation with Sue to get tips on preparing Cooper for the arrival of our baby. Sue holds a great amount of knowledge and experience, her ability to engage and equip us with modern positive training techniques has allowed us to achieve all we set out to achieve when we first got in touch.
I wanted to send you an email saying how grateful we are for all your support. Leo has his private space in the living room where he feels safe from our little girl. We have been doing activities to increase the bonding between Leo and our little girl and have had no incidents. Thank you for helping us keep our family together.
