What Our Customers Have Said

Noodle (the poodle) came into our lives 7 years ago, along with a massive collection of neuroses and issues. He’s a rescue who spent the first 3 years of his life in appalling conditions. Sue has been brilliant at creating a series of exercises and regimes that have helped make his (and our!) life so much easier and happier. From having a dog who would react massively to any sign of another pooch with huge aggression and physical activity, we now have a pooch who can pass other dogs on the other side of the street without going ballistic. He’s calmer, happier and so much easier to be with. We can’t recommend Sue highly enough, both in her abilities with dogs, but also the way she has shown us how our approaches to Noodle’s issues could be modified to make life easier for all of us.

We’re so impressed with Sue’s techniques to help with Eddie. He’s doing such a great job learning to  break the habit of weeing in the house! We’re also thrilled with Eddie’s progress. barking less and it’s made huge difference. It’s clear that your training methods are working well, and he’s responding wonderfully to the structure and guidance we were given. We’ve noticed he’s starting to signal when he needs to go outside, and that’s such a huge step forward and to understand when he is stressed. Thank you for your patience and expertise—it’s really making a difference!

I am very grateful to Sue for all her support and guidance – it has made a huge difference to both me and Benji – our walks are much more rewarding now.

Muttamorphosis (Sue) was recommended to me by my vet as someone who could help with nerves and  reactivity in my Labrador. I booked 4 sessions and can honestly say that I could not believe the difference in my dog after the first session. Sue offered really easy to follow advice; small changes that have made a huge difference! I would highly recommend Muttamorphosis to anyone needing support with their dog’s behavioural needs.

Sue clearly knows a lot and understands the complexity of dog behaviours. The best thing was going on a walk together so that she could see what Juno and I do. I was able to understand how to make progress with recall and prey drive chasing. Sue explained and showed me what to do, and as always followed up with a detailed email. Overall the behaviour sessions have certainly been worthwhile, there was acknowledgment of the work Juno and I had done, and lots of positive feedback as well as homework. Juno is doing much better now, and so I am really grateful for Sue’s time and expertise.

We 1st worked with Sue about 12 years ago when we got a lurcher puppy. Fast forward to a year ago and our new lurcher puppy, Spud. We did alright(ish) til adolescence hit. We called Sue who again was really fantastic and has given us lots to work on.  We have loved working with Sue and can’t recommend her highly enough.

I contacted Sue due to issues with my 9 month old puppy biting. It was a major issue and as she was getting older it needed sorting. I found Sue very straightforward and to the point which I liked. She gave easy to follow tips and practical advice and within a few days we saw a big difference in Mabel. Sue was always on the end of an email if advice needed & the videos on her membership site were extremely helpful as you could refresh the training Sue had already given. We now have a totally different dog compared to when we started. We would certainly recommend her to anyone having any issues with their dog. Hurrah for Sue for all her help.

I wanted to send you an email saying how grateful we are for all your support. Leo is now sleeping very settled in a crate in our room, he has some cuddles on the bed and when it’s lights out, he goes into his crate no problem. He has his private space in the living room where he feels safe from our little girl. We have been doing activities to increase the bonding between Leo and our little girl and have had no incidents. Thank you for helping us keep our family together.

I put off getting help with my rescue dog thinking if I keep doing what I am doing, behaviour is bound to improve as he gets to know me. I learned during the very first session with Sue that  there are different options for dealing with most scenarios & understanding your dog is the most important part of any of it. Sue’s experience in dealing with a huge range of breeds, scenarios and situations was exemplary; she immediately empathised with the issues and came up with tactics and strategies to cope which were easy to comprehend and implement. The sessions were packed with hints, tips, coping mechanisms, advice on everything from environment, stresses, precursors, triggers. Sue’s deep understanding of canine psychology and physiology was obvious. The feedback report after each session was detailed and remains extremely useful to refer back to, as well as the online materials. I would not hesitate to recommend Sue to anyone wishing to change stressful scenarios with their dog(s) and the sooner you start, the sooner you will reap the benefits.

We both thought the sessions were very helpful indeed – lots of positive encouragement & lots of practical tips & suggestions. It’s really hard work with a young dog so having assurances that we are heading in the right direction was very helpful. We have noticed a massive improvement in behaviour from Moose over the 2 or 3 months we’ve been working with you. Moose is a really sweet boy so your help in emphasising that side of his character rather than the annoying teenage behaviours was fantastic!

Thank you so much for helping us understand and showing us what Freddie needed to build up his confidence following his neutering. He responds so much better when encountering situations he is unsure about because he knows we have his back now! He is so much more confident and he knows I’ll step in if it is getting too much for him.

I have 3 dogs and had a new baby. While the girls adjusted quite well to the new arrival, my boy didn’t. I reached out to Sue at Muttamorphosis to help. I was incredibly stressed and really thought we may need to rehome him which would have upset me so much. Using the advice Sue gave us, Hugo has now accepted the baby and I feel so much happier. My house is now settled into a much calmer routine. Thankyou so much.

Thank you Sue for all your help and direction. You immediately changed the way I needed the look  out for Indie and we have much better times now out in public spaces.

Gary and Indie Labrador

A big thank you from Bella and me. We really enjoyed our 4 training sessions.
I also had compliments from neighbours who noticed the change in her behaviour. I am glad that the vet recommended Muttamorphosis!

After a stressful fireworks season I contacted Sue as Alfie had become very anxious and we were struggling with his excessive alert barking and his inability to settle.

The change in him has been remarkable. He is now a relaxed and contented dog who is much better prepared to face the next firework season. Thank you so much Sue for your advice and support.

Thank you so much for all your guidance, knowledge and support over the past 3 months. We feel we now have the tools to deal with any further issues we may have with Archie’s behaviour, as he grows through adolescence to adulthood.

Juliet, Martin & Border Terrier Archie

After having 2 rescue dogs, we naively decided on Bella, a working Cocker Spaniel. Several behaviour issues later and having worked with a vet behaviourist, we were referred to Sue. Our first session gave us a daily structure to decrease stress along with activities to keep her mind busy. The following sessions gave us various plans, to focus on specific areas. The time in between sessions gave us opportunity to put the plans into practice. A follow up email report after each sessions was a useful reminder. Thankfully, Sue was always on hand to reply to a ‘call for help’ email. As a result of Sue’s friendly, non-judgemental and knowledgeable approach, we now have a much more relaxed family life.

A massive thank you for all of your help over the last few months in giving us the tools to help Ozzy and us adjust to this new baby life. He’s still the same cheeky clever dog but has shown us so far he’s able to remain calm when we need it. It’s been overwhelming bringing a baby home anyway, so I can’t imagine how this would have went if we hadn’t worked with you. I’ll be recommending you to anyone I know that wants help with their doggies, but particularly those who will be welcoming a new baby.

Lauren, Chris & Cockerpoo Ozzy

We had a few behavioural issues with the boys which meant we were not as happy as we should be as a family, just having 4 sessions with Sue has made that happy family again so thank you Sue! We would definitely recommend Sue for training your dog(s), she is so knowledgeable, friendly, and very approachable. The mix of remote and face to face worked very well and was given time in between sessions to instigate the changes and review them. Thank you, Sue, we will be back if we need more support, but our walks are so more enjoyable!
